The Details of this program as Follows:

For each eligible tournment that a club member participates in our wrestlers will be awarded a Competitive Achievement Pin. This "pin" will be awarded Win, Lose or Draw.

Once a wrestler earns 8-"Pins" durning the 2009-2010 season, this wrestler will achieve the Weekend Warrior status. Once this status is reached, this wrestler will be awarded a Weekend Warroir Jacket.This jacket will be purchased by  P.A.A. and will be the wrestlers to keep and display his or her pins if they choose. This jacket will be exclusive and only awarded to those who earn it.

This program is designed as an incentive for our young wrestlers, and we hope to have high participation.  If you have any questions regarding transportation or other issues that may restrict your child from attempting to participate in this program, please speak with a PAA board member or Coach.

WEEKEND WARRIOR TOURNAMENT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1.  Register for any PAA approved tournament.

2.  Each wrestler must actually step onto the mat for matches at the required number of tournaments (8) to be eligible for Warrior status.

3.  The wrestler has to wear a Poquoson Singlet at each competition.

4.  Pins are awarded per tournament not per weight class or division wrestled, in other words, only 1 pin per tournament.

5.  Payment of entry fee must be made at the time of registration.  If payment is not made prior to the deadline for registration, the wrestler's name will be removed from the Poquoson roster, thus making the wrestler ineligible for a warrior pin for this event.  This will apply to any tournament for which a group (PAA) check is being written.

6.  Friday night league matches are not included in this warrior program.
